A.C. Milan. Italian titans. Giants of Serie A. One of the most successful clubs in global football history. Try and choose an all time Milan XI. You can’t. It’s impossible. You could make 6 teams and still be left with an abundance of world class talent.

Associazione Calcio Milan was founded in 1899 as ‘Milan Foot-ball and Cricket Club’ by Alfred Edwards and Nottingham’s own, Herbert Kilpin.

It is one of the best supported teams in world football. Historically, the club was supported by the city's working class. In contrast, rivals Internazionale were mainly supported by the more prosperous middle class. The Derby della Madonnina at the San Siro is one of the tastiest prospects of the calendar year.

Over the years, the Rossoneri have claimed 32 domestic titles, 14 European titles and 4 intercontinental titles. An Italian force.

Despite a euphoric history, Milan have struggled to make a significant impression on world football in recent years, much like their rowdy neighbours Inter. The last truly successful Milan team was the side that featured the likes of Zlatan, Thiago Silva and Andrea Pirlo, which claimed the league title in 2010-11.

The game has evolved since the Rossoneri were the team to beat. However after several average seasons, guided once more by the god-like presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan are starting to look like the side of times gone by and we’re here for it.
